MAXWELL'S NURSERY
I had high hopes of posting nursery photos before Max was born, but it just didn't happen. On the list of priorities that one was toward the bottom, but I did want to share the pics with you guys. Joe did all of the painting and really was motivated to get the room ready. It's been done since mid August, but honestly, I just didn't go up the stairs very often. It would completely wear me out and sometimes bring on contractions. That's part of the reason the photos are just now getting up. Now that Max is here and I am recovered going upstairs for photos was not difficult.
a view of his changing tower, toy box and the closets. Bayley got that toy box for his first Christmas. Later he shared it with Jackson, and now it's on to Max.
We still had our furniture from when Bayley was born so, of course we reused that. Joe painted the changing table white to help breathe new life into it. After using it with both the boys and my sister it was in need of a little "refreshing" for another phase of use. The wall letter were a little project of mine in the last few weeks before Max came. The colors make it warm and cozy while the jungle animals keep it fun for a little one.

The stuffed monkey in the corner is from Aunt Jacque, Uncle Zac and the girls. It went right into his crib as soon as we put it together.
SOCCER BEGINS
There is always a lot going on at our house, but this year there is even more with the arrival of Max. Of course, it's fall and that means sports are starting back up with the Muscle Shoals Parks and Recreation Leagues. This year Bay decided to play soccer instead of flag football and Jackson is playing soccer again. One night mosquitoes are thick and a few nights later you need your winter coat. You never know what you'll get with the weather down here.
HAPPY 11TH BIRTHDAY BAY!!
Well, this year my first baby turned 11 and we had another baby. Lots of changes this year...I guess Bay is officially a pre-teen with all of the fun that goes along with that. He has gotten so tall, before I know it he'll be looking me directly in the eye. He is becoming a wonderful young man...sniff,sniff.
Jackson, Bay and Evan singing Happy Birthday to Bay and waiting for him to make a wish and blow out the candles.
Bay had a sleep over to celebrate his birthday. Jackson, Bay, Evan and Tate all get along so well it is a pleasure when they are together. We didn't have lots of kids over this year since Joe and I are doing our best on what little sleep we get.
The day before his birthday, Bay received 4 cards from family in Illinois. Wes and Katie Cammon, G&G Cammon, G&G Rinehart and Great G&G Daugherty.
MUSCLE SHOALS HOMECOMING 2009
One of our babysitters, Kerrigan, is in the last row on the far side holding a flag. I haven't been able to make any of the football games, so I wanted to see her in the parade. She did a great job!!

BABY DAYS
Max just loves to hear his brothers talk to him. Little man was 4 wks old in this photo.
There he is again, fixed on everything his brother is saying.
Bay just loves the photo op with his "favorite Max".

Max relaxing in his swing that Grandma Debbie and Grandpa George gave him while snuggling under the blanket Grandma Rinehart crocheted.
MAX AND THE BOYS
Max and Bayley chillin on the sofa. When either of the boys talk to Max he just studies their face and takes in all of the sounds.
There they are, the Three Amigos.
Sweetly resting in his little Pooh Bear gown. We had a gown just like this one for the boys when they were babies. It just happens to be Joe's favorite.

MAX'S FIRST BATH AT HOME
When Max had his first bath at home it was another family affair. Bay and Jackson helped while Joe took most of the photos. The above photo happens to be Bay's handy work.
Max kept eating his hand during his first "spa treatment". He just relaxed and looked around. He really seems to enjoy the bath, warm water and all of the attention.

Waiting for the elevator with my "crew". Sherry D., RN is another one of the awesome ladies I work with at the hospital. She took us down to the car for the big drive home.
MORE HOSP PHOTOS
Max quietly resting in his crib. Behind him is his monkey that Hudson gave him. The black stuffed animal is the little dog Jackson brought to the hospital for Max to have. Of course, I had to get a photo of Max with his animals. Did you notice he has that little hand up by his chin, just like in the 4D ultrasound?
