JUST FOR FUN MAX PHOTOS SPRING OF 2010

HAPPY ST.PATRICK'S DAY!! I'm a star baby!
A game of peek-a-boo in his blanket.

Our baby boy finding out he can stand and play with his favorite musical toy.

Wow, that cookie was sooo good...it's all over my face!

BAY'S CLASS PICNIC AT SPRING PARK

Bay's class picnic was held at Spring Park in Tuscumbia. It is a beautiful park with lots for the kids to do. They have the play area along with a carousel, little roller coaster and a train that goes around the park.

Bay is in the middle of the photo in the turquoise shirt. Those kids had such a good time riding that little roller coaster!

JACKSON'S 3RD GRADE PICNIC AT GATTMAN PARK AND THE NEW SPLASH PAD

The class picnic is often at Gattman Park, but this year there was an added bonus... a new splash pad! The only thing missing was Mrs.Goins. She had just delivered her first baby girl, Lydia Blair. Can I tell you, Jackson is all about this precious little baby girl. Congrats to Lyndsey and Blair on their new addition!
A shot of the colorful, new splash pad and all of the kids enjoying it. Jackson is out there...somewhere?!

The kids broke out in a "locomotion" train winding through the water. They all had such a great time!

Jackson was excited that Joe was able to join us over his lunch hour and participate in some of the class picnic fun. The kids were enjoying a little impromptu whiffle ball game.

Jackson is in the light blue swim trunks with palm trees. It was such a hot day and the splash pad was the perfect was to cool off.

ARRGGHH! HIDE THE TURKEY

In my efforts to update the family blog I found some photos that are not in sequence with the year; however, I thought everyone would enjoy them. There are so many times I take photos and think "this will be great to share on the blog" only to set it aside, get busy and never get around to posting the pics. These photos are from last November when Jackson had an assignment to camouflage the turkey. He loves pirates, so of course, his became a pirate!

His turkey should be safe this Thanksgiving.

Happily working on his turkey...pirates hat and all!

MORE FUN FROM FIELD DAY

Bay is second from the left in the blue shirt. He was really haulin'!
The tug of war...we lost, but the kids put forth an amazing effort!

MCBRIDE FIELD DAY 2010

The end of the school year always brings field day. This is where all of the classes participate in individual and class events. Each year Bay has been in the relay race and Jackson was so excited to make it into the four racing from his class as well. It was a great day to be outside!
You can sort of see Jackson handing off the baton to his classmate. He is behind the second person from the left and in a yellow shirt.

Bay and Jackson at McBride Field Day. This is the only year they are together at the same school since next year Bay goes to the Middle School.

Jackson's class, Mrs. Goins, won the tug of war all of the way to losing in the final round. They were awesome and tried super hard.

Jackson with two of his buddies Austin and Mason. They were really trying to stay cool on such a hot day full of sun and fun.

BASEBALL SPRING 2010

The spring once again brought the cracking of the bat and the green grass stains that come with baseball. We took this quick photo in our yard prior to leaving for a game. It's one of our favorites. Max is even decked out in a baby baseball uniform.
