Rocket City Marathon in Huntsville, AL

Well, this was exciting for the boys and I because it was the first time we were able to go with Joe for a race. He has a personal goal of running a marathon in each of the 50 states. Very cool if you ask me. Anyway the hotel was energized with all of the participants registering for the marathon the next day. Even though it was December 7th the weather was predicted to be in the upper 60's. The boys were hoping to swim, but he pool was outside and not quite warm enough for that.
Here Joe is registering for the big day.
Dad with his two biggest fans, Jackson and Bayley.

This photo just gives you a glimpse of the number of people at the starting line. The race had over 1500 participants from all over the United States.

Mr. Incredible, well...OK, if you say so. We think Joe is Mr.Incredible, but something tells me he wouldn't wear the costume. Thanks sweetie!

I noticed Joe barely fell in that age category - not for long!!! Good thing I will always be younger or he could really get back at me!

Sign me up when he runs in Hawaii -not to run, just for support.

Thanks for doing the blog - I love it!
