HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

The boys and I always enjoy decorating for Halloween. I'm not sure why we love it sooo much....maybe it's because Bay and I have birthdays in October or maybe it's because it kind of kicks off the start of the holidays. From our birthdays through Christmas our house is decorated for the up coming holiday. No matter if it's Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas we enjoy it!
The morning of Halloween Max had to wear his "little pumpkin" sleeper with his "my first boo" bib. The bib was a gift from Wendy RN, his nursery nurse at delivery and one of our nurses while we were in the hospital.

Look at that precious smile!!! Ok, this little outfit was Bayley's first Halloween costume. Little Bayley had trouble filling it out at 3 wks old. I thought it would be neat to have photos of Max in it too. Clearly a child of mine, already loving Halloween and all of the fall fun!

I thought the boys would enjoy eating hot dog mummies, breadstick bones and cinnamon & sugar broomsticks for lunch. Both Bay and Jackson thought they looked "cool". I guess Joe liked them since he ended up eating most of the mummies.

Special Boo-cakes for breakfast!

PRECIOUS BABY

Catch'n a few zzzz on Grandpa Rinehart's shoulder.

Looking super cute in his outfit from Granna Sheila. Ready for his first day of church at Red Brush.

Ready for church and still a little sleepy...me too buddy.

HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY MAYA!!

Luckily we were able to hang around on Sunday and join in the fun celebrating Maya's 2nd birthday.
Little Max enjoying the party.

Wow, last year the photos were easier to get! Maya was on the move pretty much the whole time. That girl likes a party...then again she is named after Aunt Julie, so it make sense!

Uncle Joe holding the graphics of Dora and Boots for Ava, Maya and Ella to see and touch. He's got a soft spot for those little girls!

Ryan and his beautiful little Ella, with ice cream on her face...It is a party afterall.

Vayda looks so grown up in her little vest and scarf. Uber Chic!!

FALL HARVEST FESTIVAL 2009

We made our annual trip home for the Fall Harvest Festival Parade in Louisville. The guys loved getting the candy and visiting with family. What a beautiful weekend for being outside!

Bay, Andrew and Jackson along the parade route gathering candy.

Little Max with his Great Grandpa Boose. Max got his middle name, Vaughn, from his GG Boose.

Here he is with Grandma Dorothy.

LAZY SATURDAY MORNINGS

Now who doesn't love a lazy Saturday morning?!
A beautiful full smile and a giggle

Max smiling at his big brother Jackson. It is amazing to see how intently Max watches and listens to his brothers. I don't know what Jackson was talking about, but it must have been really interesting.

The following two photos are me playing with my new camera I got for my birthday. This was literally the first time I used it. Just thought you may like to see how cute Max is!!

LIFE AT HOME WITH BABY

Daddy getting some wonderful baby time with Max.

Max just loves to lay on the floor and look into his mirror Britney Hudson gave him.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA RINEHART

Joe had a great idea to email a birthday wish to Grandma Rinehart on her special day. This was the only way she could see them on her birthday. Bay and Jackson worked very hard to make a nice birthday sign. I hope she enjoyed the photo.

MAXWELL'S NURSERY

I had high hopes of posting nursery photos before Max was born, but it just didn't happen. On the list of priorities that one was toward the bottom, but I did want to share the pics with you guys. Joe did all of the painting and really was motivated to get the room ready. It's been done since mid August, but honestly, I just didn't go up the stairs very often. It would completely wear me out and sometimes bring on contractions. That's part of the reason the photos are just now getting up. Now that Max is here and I am recovered going upstairs for photos was not difficult.

a view of his changing tower, toy box and the closets. Bayley got that toy box for his first Christmas. Later he shared it with Jackson, and now it's on to Max.

We still had our furniture from when Bayley was born so, of course we reused that. Joe painted the changing table white to help breathe new life into it. After using it with both the boys and my sister it was in need of a little "refreshing" for another phase of use. The wall letter were a little project of mine in the last few weeks before Max came. The colors make it warm and cozy while the jungle animals keep it fun for a little one.

The stuffed monkey in the corner is from Aunt Jacque, Uncle Zac and the girls. It went right into his crib as soon as we put it together.

Max at 2 weeks old checking out the nursery for the first time.

SOCCER BEGINS

There is always a lot going on at our house, but this year there is even more with the arrival of Max. Of course, it's fall and that means sports are starting back up with the Muscle Shoals Parks and Recreation Leagues. This year Bay decided to play soccer instead of flag football and Jackson is playing soccer again. One night mosquitoes are thick and a few nights later you need your winter coat. You never know what you'll get with the weather down here.
Bay plays for the Trojans Black Team in rec league soccer. He really seems to enjoy it. He jumps right in and plays hard.

Jackson is the second child from the right in this photo. He plays for the Express, also in the rec league. This is his 3rd year playing soccer. Joe is helping to coach Jax's team this year.

Starting the game off, Jackson kicks the ball to get it going.

BIRTHDAYS AND BABIES

Another photo of my favorite baby boy sleeping.
What a great to spend my days!!
He's already getting so big! 5 wks old

My birthday was October 4th and my chosen sister, Anji, sent me some beautiful flowers. She always does the sweetest things to make me feel special. Thanks Anj, they were great!! She also included a couple cute items for Max. How thoughtful, thanks.

HAPPY 11TH BIRTHDAY BAY!!

Well, this year my first baby turned 11 and we had another baby. Lots of changes this year...I guess Bay is officially a pre-teen with all of the fun that goes along with that. He has gotten so tall, before I know it he'll be looking me directly in the eye. He is becoming a wonderful young man...sniff,sniff.

Jackson, Bay and Evan singing Happy Birthday to Bay and waiting for him to make a wish and blow out the candles.

Bay had a sleep over to celebrate his birthday. Jackson, Bay, Evan and Tate all get along so well it is a pleasure when they are together. We didn't have lots of kids over this year since Joe and I are doing our best on what little sleep we get.

The day before his birthday, Bay received 4 cards from family in Illinois. Wes and Katie Cammon, G&G Cammon, G&G Rinehart and Great G&G Daugherty.

Two guesses who sent this card...thanks Wes! Yeah, I know you picked it out. By the way, it was Bay's favorite.

MUSCLE SHOALS HOMECOMING 2009

One of our babysitters, Kerrigan, is in the last row on the far side holding a flag. I haven't been able to make any of the football games, so I wanted to see her in the parade. She did a great job!!

Muscle Shoals has such a great band! This is just the end of the kids. It's definitely one of those bands that get you pumped up for events.

Max at the Homecoming Parade. The weather was perfect and it was a great day to try out the new stroller.

Jackson, Maxwell and Bayley showing their Trojan spirit...Ok, so max isn't in red and black, but you get the idea.

BABY DAYS

Max just loves to hear his brothers talk to him. Little man was 4 wks old in this photo.

There he is again, fixed on everything his brother is saying.

Bay just loves the photo op with his "favorite Max".

Max relaxing in his swing that Grandma Debbie and Grandpa George gave him while snuggling under the blanket Grandma Rinehart crocheted.

Hang'in out on the blanket Anji gave us, and of course, comfy under his favorite blanket.

MAX AND THE BOYS

Max and Bayley chillin on the sofa. When either of the boys talk to Max he just studies their face and takes in all of the sounds.

There they are, the Three Amigos.

Sweetly resting in his little Pooh Bear gown. We had a gown just like this one for the boys when they were babies. It just happens to be Joe's favorite.

He gave us a little sideways grin while Joe was talking to him.

A sleeping angel...My favorite thing to do!!!
